Thus if you want to make a career in Finance, you might want to consider a Masters in Finance in preference to an MBA in Finance. The scope of an MBA in finance is tremendous and offers good job opportunities with good pay packages. If you do your programme from any of the top MBA institutes in Delhi, your chances of getting placed in a good position increase many folds. Hi Moshin,
According to your marks and category, it will be very tough for you to get any branch in NIT-Silchar. If you got 10-15 marks more then this, you will get some branch there. But with your HS category, you might get some preference. So wait tilll the last round.
All the best!

Hi Sourav,
The minimum eligibility criteria for PO (Probationary Officer) jobs under IBPS examination is graduation. The IBPS is the umbrella organisation which conducts one common entrance exam for entry level positions (Probationary Officer Cadre) for Public Sector banks in India. Similarly, SBI (State Bank of India) also conducts an examination for these positions. So, you do not require an MBA for applying to these positions.
Additionally, if you are looking for other high-end banking jobs such as investment bankers, brokers, bank consultants, an MBA from top-notch B-school is almost a necessary requirement to get into that league.
