If I talk about the rankings of the Lovely Professional University Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. To become IAS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 12th complete Graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.
It is under Civil Service Exam conducted once in a Year by UPSC.To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam.

1. There are lesser job opportunities in architecture but it depends on the college that you are getting admission into. If placement records are sound then nothing to worry about. You may go ahead.
2. Getting job at the start is tough due to less opportunities.

You are having good marks in your boards but below average marks in JEE Mains, you may not get any NIT or any best government college but based on your category you may get benefited.
