The art of improving interiors is known as interior design. You can get admission to Interior Design colleges either on the basis of merit or entrance exams. the eligibility criteria for colleges do vary from institution to institution. However some of the basic eligibility criteria mentioned below remain the same:

• Candidates are eligible to apply for Interior Designing course if they have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board.
• Most colleges prefer candidates who have studied Physics as a full-time course or as an additional subject in 10+2.
• For merit-based admissions, students must secure more than 80% in the qualifying exam. 
• Students are advised to appear for various common entrance exams like NATA, MAH AAC CET, Pearl Academy Entrance Exam, CUET, Pearl Academy Entrance Exam, etc. to increase their chances of getting accepted in most colleges.
