I think it's quite late to answer your query. But let me attempt. Fundamentally all branches are similar and have similar job opportunities. But many a times it's a cyclical process. Some may shine this year while others may in next years. But what I would rec is that one should select only that branch which one likes.

As you missed cut-off according to your cut-off just by 7 marks as if you think that I have done some particular mistake that can be solved next year and I score better next year then you may go.
