A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate at B.Sc (General or Honours) or equivalent degree from a university endorsed by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. The student must have studied relevant subject at B.Sc.

Yes, it is a bit risky now, as you have to score above 50% in MA (as you don't have it in BA) for getting admission in B.Ed. If you talk about possibilities, yes it is possible to do Master's degree through distance (as you want better marks), and then do a regular B.Ed. I have few friends who are doing so at present, it is absolutely alright. Now, whether you should do Masters through regular or distance mode is entirely up to you. It is definitely difficult to score high through regular mode, but it also inculcates better learning. All the best.

The will be thousands of applicants probably having a stronger profile tha you so prepare with careful work. For admission purpose take SAT or ACT. You did not say what you want to study hence assuming you are applying for Bachelor's.
