Dear,
Specially in research field like Biotechnology, Microbiology, stem cell and life science you would get good opportunities after Masters and PhD level. You won't get much opportunities after B.Sc or B.Tech degree. Specially in India this field don't have good salary structure .Either you need to get few years of experience abroad then settle in India.

If you want to do MBA from India then CAT is the first priority. CAT is the only option to get Into IIMs.
But if you want to study MBA abroad then you can give GMAT.
GMAT score is accepted globally.
Good luck.

Dear,
This University is on average side and low in overall ranking. Either you consider other good option outside Uttaranchal or perform extremely well in this university and get all required expertise and knowledge and then pursue MBA construction project management or M.Tech in environmental technology or structure for better opportunities and growth.

For IT and CSE I must say Bangalore is best but when it comes to mechanical engineering both the cities have same scope for placement and job preferences. Just think of a good college in Bangalore or in Bhubaneswar.

Hi Tanisha,
If you would go by my advice, I would say choose UPES. You did not mention the course which you want to pursue but no matter which course you're mentioning if I had to choose between the two, I would choose UPES every time. So go for it, and if you have any queries, feel free to write back.
