The information you have given is quite interesting. You have scored quite well in your 10th, your 12th and even in your MBA. But while doing BE, something has happened which made you not score well. Oh. After you have finished MBA now you want to do Masters in mechanical engineering? Is that right? Yes, you can of course do it because you have scored more than 50%. You need to appear for GATE and depending on the marks obtained in GATE you can get an engineering college.
Normally speaking, your marks in BE should not matter much as compared with what you will get in GATE 2019, but which college and which university you will get depends to a large extent on how those scored better than you give their choice. So I suggest you should not think over it and just concentrate on clearing GATE2019, with very good marks to get admission in your desired college.

Eligibility for MBA - Executive (Evening)
1. Candidates should have pursued at least a three-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling, having secured minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent.
2. The candidates should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/government establishment/registered organisation after passing the Bachelor's degree examination. Experience shall be determined as on 1st April of the year of admission. Candidates should be either sponsored or they must produce a "No Objection Certificate" programme from his/her present employer. Eligibility for MBA - Executive Health Care Administration
1. Candidates must have a Bachelor degree having secured minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent grades in any discipline such as Medicine (MBBS)/ Dentistry (BDS)/ Biotechnology/ Genomics/ Genetics/ Nursing/ Bioengineering/ Alternative Systems/ of Medicine/ Paramedical Discipline/ Pharmacology/ Anthropology/ Zoology or an examination recognised as equivalent.
2. The candidate should have at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/Industrial/government establishment/registered organisation after acquiring the Bachelor degree (excluding internship). Experience shall be determined as on the 1st April of the year of admission. Candidate should be either sponsored or they must produce a "No Objection Certificate" from his/her present employer.

After completion of your Diploma you have almost 10 years of work experience. Now with this work experience there is perhaps no need to do graduation in engineering because you would be de factor considered as an engineer.
However, for acquiring other educational qualification you need to do your graduation first in any subject that you like. Here I will like to suggest you to go to the webpage of a famous Distance Education University IGNOU. Here you will find plenty of subjects that you will like. Provided, this what you want to do. If you have earned enough in these 10 years, then you can think of branching off into doing some social work which will satisfy your inner self.
