The abroad study in any country works in following manner:-
1. Appear for qualifying exams like GRE & TOEFL/IELTS
2. Apply with scores of these, all mark sheets up to graduation level, two letter of recommendations, registration fees and an essay called "Statement of Purpose"
3. Upon selection by the university, you will receive admission letter.
4. Obtain VISA with the help of admission letter and financial documents to prove that you can sustain yourself at abroad during study period of your own.
5. After reaching university, you will have to pay first installment of tuition fee, books, insurance and medi-claim.
6. Once admission is taken

Generally, any graduate can apply for Post Graduation course in animation. But some institutions such as Industrial Design Center (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Design (NID) follows eligibility criterion that only graduate of Architecture, Technology and Engineering, Fine Arts can apply for the PG courses.
You may contact the institute officials directly for specific criteria and admission details before joining.
