Hi Santosh,
To pursue B.tech from part time or full time the minimum education qualification is a 12th pass where as you did a diploma that too of 3 years, even if you had a 4 years diploma, you could have been eligible for the Lateral entry course. As per your qualification you are not eligible for the B.tech degree from either modes, yet you can go through the following link to inquire about the possibilities in the case of correspondence/ distance courses:

Hi Santosh,
If you are comparing between B.Tech and B.Sc in either of the study modes, B.tech is a far more technical course and i would advise you to go for it.
There aren't many options to pursue b.tech through correspondence, yet you may refer through the given link:

Hi,
Obviously the brand name of the university where you pursued your undergraduation from plays an important role. The criteria that is required by MIT is that your undergraduate degree has to be recognized by UGC and AICTE in India. If your university is recognized by the same, then there should be no problem that would affect your admission in MIT. I would also like to let you know that your performance in the university will play a major role in your admission process. If you are targeting MIT, target a percentage no less than 75% in each semester or admission maybe difficult.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly m

Hi Shruti,
First thing I would suggest you to focus on is your graduation and score high percentage on that. coming back to your query, yes you can and you should go for placements through your college but why I am emphasizing you to focus on your graduation is for two reasons, one that, apart from your college placements you could be able to get a good job offers from other companies as well. Secondly, it will help you to a great extent for your higher studies (whenever you plan for it).
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best ans

Advertising is a great course and has a lot of demand in the field of media. If you want to make ur career in this field then you can pursue a degree in the field of advertisement. I have heard about this newly launched lifestyle university, UTM, Shillong that offers BA (Advertising). The course looks cool to me. You can try this.
