If you are interested in Banking then should better go for Graduation in banking related subjects. however you can also work in a bank with non banking skills like IT, Marketing, Legal services etc . .Just find out what role you would like to play and them choose the subject of studies.

This type of admission is completely dependent on the Institute . If there are vacant seats then very rarely Institutes fill up those seats through Institute round .
But its very rare chance.
