This is India's as well as Asia's only core sector university. So comparing with other colleges and university won't be fair as they have a unique name in the core Industry. This university offers industry specific courses in Oil & Gas, Logistics & Supply Chain, Port and Shipping, Infrastructure, IT, Electronics, Power, Aviation etc. They had pretty fair placements records even in the days of recession, so i hope they will definitely show better results in growing market. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. MBA is a holistic course which deals with management aspects, the major specialization in MBA are:
- Finance.
- Marketing.
- Operations.
- Human resources, etc.
So, you may opt for any of these specialization as per your interest and liking.
However, as per your profile pursuing MBA in IT or finance would be the best option for you as it will further enhance your career prospects.

The other option for you would be to work for 2-3 years and then opt for MBA, the advantage of this step would be that after working for few years you would know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
