After your BDS you can practice in US, Canada but you have to undergo all the formalities required by those countries before you decide to settle there. Like in US you have to clear NBDE exam and then complete 2 year DDS. After that you can practice there and earn well. Dental doctors are the highest earning professionals in US.

Marks can be increased only by studying more and by basically claring the fundamentals in your mind. Instead of trying to remember everything it would be better to learn the basic fundmentals and methods to apply them. I also suggest you to judge yourself critically for the academics and opt for a course in which you are comfortable and which you enjoy the most.

Food technology has larger scope and it is growing at a faster speed than the other one you mentioned. In Forensic science the career openings are mostly limited to the Govt sector and hence you need to compete more there. In Food technology the scope is largely open in the private sector as well. If you have equal interest in both of them the I suggest you opt for Food technology.
