You are not eligible due to age bar, which is framed by Bar Council of India and that is maximum 30 years for general category and 35 for SC/ ST and OBC.

IIFT is the best and you have to work hard for the same. As they have only two institutes, i.e. in Kolkata and Delhi and seats are around 500 to 600. If you are really passionate for it, then go ahead.

If you have a work experience of 7 years, then you should for go for MBA. I would suggest you to go for MS, but you can decide as per your interest as MS has wide scope for research.
According to your profile, if you go for MBA, then you will get have better scope in the country itself to boost yourself. You also have that much ability to handle the pressure.

Agribusiness is offered by IIMs too like IIM - A, L and ranked as the top ones. So, when you can set yourself with wide opportunities, then why not appear for CAT and go for IIMs. Even the percentile goes down to 80 for a general category student to get a call from IIMs in this course.

It is a private university and they cannot give you a degree. They will give you a Diploma, which is PGDM and it will be considered equal to an MBA, when done from a reputed college. University has the right to give you a degree.

For UG courses (Engg.), it is through IIT-JEE. For PG courses, M.Tech, it is done through GATE and for MBA through CAT score.

From last two years PSU's hasn't visited our campus. This year till now no news about PSU visiting our campus. But next year we are expecting them to visit our campus. As for recent past years they had stopped visiting campus for placements. But from this year they have again started campus placement.
