Indian Students are required to undertake a 1 year Freshman course prior to pursuing a BTech degree in Germany. The Freshman course is undertaken at any Private or Government college. This course prepares the student to pursue BTech in his/her desired discipline at one of their partner universities.
Some reputed Government institutions conduct an Entrance Examination for undertaking the Freshman course in the month of June-July.
Expenses for undertaking the Freshman course in private institutions would be 9 lakhs to 12 lakhs approximately (including 6 Lakhs Living Expenditure) whereas if you choose a Government institution the total expenditure would come up to 9 lakhs (including Living Expenditure). Higher Education in Universities are free in Germany and students need only pay Semester fees which amount to approximately 500 Euros.

To be eligible for B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science engineering, you need to complete 12th in Science (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) with minimum 60% from recognized board. Your age must be between 17-23 years. You need to appear in entrance exam.

Graduates in any discipline irrespective of percentage or division of marks or medium of examination are exempted from passing the Foundation Program and eligible for direct registration for the CS Executive Program exams.
If a person is enrolled or appearing such examination (as mentioned above), then s/he may be provisionally enrolled and final certificates to be produced within 6 months of provisional enrollment.
*You can purchase the admission forms from the institution or get it by post. Forms can also be got from the Central Bank of India. The price of the admission form is Rs.1000/-. The CS examinations are usually carried out in the months of June and December annually.
