Definitely, you can. But you can appear for the 2nd round. I think you can get CSE in NITs because your 1st attempt is good. You can get your desired result with this attempt also.

Given your academics and entrance score, you will definitely get a call from most of the good B-Schools, if you apply, but here you haven't mentioned any particular B-School of your choice. Some good B-Schools according to your scores and work experience can be IMI, TAPMI, Nirma, IISWBM, IMT, BIMM, etc.

For Admission into DoMS NIT Trichy, candidates should have 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OBC and 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree. For PWD candidates, the eligibility criterion will apply to the category they belong to (OC/OBC/SC/ST). Based on the number of applicants applied the cutoff range for Dorms NIT Trichy varies every year. The expected cut-off are (for General-80 and above, OBC-70 and above, SC/ST-65 and above).
