Arts student can pursue BA (economics) provide that they have economics geography/ applied mathematics/economics or other related fields as one of the main subjects.
Commerce student can pursue B.Com (economics) provided that they had economics/business mathematics/pure mathematics/economic geography as one of the main subjects.
Science student can pursue B.Sc (economics) provided that they had mathematics as one of the main subjects.
This is general eligibility criteria, however it also depends upon particular admitting institute.

M.Tech eligibility normally depends on the subject in which you have done your B.Tech. As you have done B.Tech in solar/alternate energy, you are eligible for M.Tech in environmental protection or such similar subjects.

IIM - Indore provides this option of 5 year integrated course, where you can complete your graduation followed by MBA.

If it's integrated course, I feel that's the best you can do to go to Australia. Australia of course desires immigrants but from some professions only. Through this, you can get job & settle there.
