First of all, I would like to say that as you are aspiring for IAS which is a very tough competitive exam and the people getting selected are very few so go for any course in graduation which will act as a backup for your career. You can go for BBA or law or engineering. I will prefer to go for BBA because it's an easy course so you will get time to prepare for IAS exam and if you are not selected then you can pursue MBA which will give you a good career.

Hello Karthik,
Different colleges use different names for the exact same course. You can opt for B.Tech / BE in software engineering, information technology, information science or computer science engineering. Computer science engineering involves hardware related subjects as well besides software. If you pursue BE / B.Tech, it is a 4 years course. If you go for integrated courses like (BE / B.Tech + MBA / M.Tech), it will be a 5 years course wherein you will be awarded with a Bachelors degree as well as a Masters degree.
I hope this answers your question to your satisfaction. If so, kindly up vote this answer. If you have any further q

IP is a reputed university. Amity is very famous for all its fancy curriculums, but when it comes to placement, they are not up to the mark. You can look for some other options as well. You can have a look at Asia Pacific Institute of Management.
