If you are seeking admission into any engineering (B.Tech ) offered by SRM University must satisfy following qualification criteria.
For B. Tech course:
1. To be an Indian national and resident who have completed their schooling in India.
2. For B. Tech course from SRM University Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks with physics, chemistry, & mathematics (PCM) and for bioinformatics, biomedical & instrumentation engineering, bioprocess in Physics, Chemistry, and biology (PCB).
3. Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.
4. Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the SRM EEE are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food Process Engineering and Genetic Engineering programs.

Below is the Eligibility for admission in IIT.
The initial eligibility will be to clear JEE Mains and fall in the 1,50,000 candidates who will be eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced)- 2013 .
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
The following procedure will be used for selecting the 1,50,000 candidates who will be eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced)- 2013 based on their performance in JEE (Main) -2013.
Only the candidate’s aggregate marks in JEE (Main) will be considered and no tie-break mechanism will be implemented at this stage. This will make the list of candidates eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2013 slightly more than 1,50,000 due to bunching of candidates with the same aggregate marks at the bottom of each category.
For Students who wish to pursue B.Arch from IIT
All the candidates aspiring for undergraduate courses in IIT (irrespective of any branch) should write Paper-1 of JEE (Main). If selected within the top 1,50,000 (including all categories), the candidate will be able to write the JEE (Advanced) - 2013. Moreover, candidates desirous of joining the B.Arch courses will be required to qualify in an Aptitude Test to be conducted at all zonal IITs on 28th June 2013 (Friday). However the seat allotment will be done based on the JEE (Advanced) – 2013 rank only.
