Firstly, I would like to know as to from where you have got the information about your rank. NTA is yet to declare rank and hence we can compare only percentile at present. But why are you worrying? You percentile of 96.2 is excellent.

Basically, UGC had recommend that minimum 50 percent for general category and 45 percent for reserved category. But, it will depend on the college that whether they will give you a chance. All the best.

Hi Gokul,
The best he can do is to collect the admission form, which to the best of my knowledge are distributed only on campus. The forms for management quota (which might be his best bet) gets sold out very quickly. Therefore, now he must contact the college by phone and find out the exact dates.
