It totally depends on you as both are good colleges.As your rank is good in KIIT in comparision to SRM there is a higher probablity of getting any branch of your choice in KIIT.SRM is also very good college in terms of placements and infrastructure.

Hi
If you want to do a M.SC-IT regular/full time course then you should be from science background or from computers back ground like B.Sc or BCA etc.
You have to clear the Common entrance test also conducted by the universities and based on the merit you can choose a college.
If you are not from science background and still want to get into IT industry, I may suggest you to pick M.C.A. Go for distance study as your percentage is low. If with Maths, then you can get admission easily.
However without Maths, you can opt the following ways-
1. Pick Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications which will make you eligible for 2nd year M.C.A

Dear you question is not clear. As per policy of lpu (subjected to change) there is a form for parents in which parents has to mention how many time their ward can go for outing, if a student want to go to home it depends upon student when ever he/she want to leave, after filling a particular form a student can leave any number of time, but he/she has to maintain his attendance at his/his own responsibility.Rest all the facilities are provided inside hostel and quite safe and calm environment is there inside university.
