Hi Mehak, Engineering itself is a science of innovation. Barely concentrating on the market statistics to choose your branch will not be good as market statistics keep changing from time to time and if you are unable to get a complete grip of your branch, your marks may get low affecting placements later on. So, I would suggest you to explore the particular branch of engineering which interests you and go for it. This will automatically make sure your marks are a lot better, provided, you study with full dedication.

You have to appear in CAT first of all ( or in GMAT, in case of international students). You also have to apply, separately on FMS Delhi's website for admission. Date of which will be communicated via various communication channels.
Cut off of CAT 2014 was 98.54 . Score as high as possible and secure a call for next set of rounds.
There will be an extempore and PI and aspirants/candidates are measured on few parameters. Thereafter, selected students will be offered admission in FMS Delhi.

Hi Tariq,
It will be difficult to comment on this. Also 5 months working is not considered as good work experience. But definitely 1 year gap before MBA will not hinder your college placements as it is considered as education break.
Placements are based on your education, your performance at college level, etc.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!
