There are many branches in engineering, both traditional and new age branches.Among these some traditional and new age branches are more demanding and have wide scope.I will list some them.
1. Petroleum Engineering - Is a very rare branch in India. Only limited seats are there for Petroleum engineering.
2. Petrochemical Engineering - This is also rare course in India.
Both courses have huge demand in India and Abroad. Petrolium engineers can start their career with a salary range of 1Lakh - 3 Lakh in India, and 2 Lakh - 5 Lakhs abroad. Thousands of opportunities are there in Oil and Petroleum companies.
3. Mechatronics - Is a new age branch which is the combination of Electronics, Mechanical and CS engineering branches.
4. BE / B Tech - Civil and B Arch

Both are related to construction industry. Construction is an ever going activity. Due to increase in population, there is a huge demand for new Home/ Villas, Apartments / Flats etc. Besides New Roads and Bridges are needed for society.
5. BE / B Tech - Automobile Engineering

This is also one demanding branch among engineering. Its a sub branch of mechanical engineering mainly focused on Designing, Manufacturing, and Repairing of Motor vehicles including Commercial Vehicles, Private Cars and Two/ Three wheelers.
4. BE / B Tech - Mechanical Engineering

Mech is an ever demanding branch in engineering. It is focused on designing, Construction, Maintenance of various Machines which are used for production,manufacturing . They have huge openings in Production Units, Various Industrial Organizations etc.
5. Aeronautical / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

BE / B Tech in Aeronautical Engineering is a good choice for higher education. It is mainly focused on Designing, Construction, Maintenance or repairing of Various Aircrafts, Missiles, Rockets etc.
After the course, opportunities are there in Airline Companies, Airport Authorities, Flying Clubs, Indian Air Force, Army etc. as Flight Engineer, Reasearch Associate etc.
AME is a licensing course conducted by Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA). The duration is 3 Years. Job opportunities are there in Airports / Airline Companies as Service Engineers.

Actuarial Science is a discipline that applies Mathematical and Statistical Methods
( mainly Probability theory ) to asses the risks in Insurance and Financial sectors. In other words Actuaries are risk assessment professionals / specialists. They are assessing risk on the basis of probability theory and possibilities for risks in future.Also analyses previous risk histories and loss ratio and fix risk rate for insurance companies.
Actuaries are key professionals in Insurance companies. They may get more salary than CEO. Actuaries are highly paid professionals.

I dont suggest to join a graduation programme in animation , I have noticed, in above 80% of the cases , there are issues if you join a graduation in animation, due to miss communication or lack of communication between an institution and University .
It is really tough to directly comment on any institute best or not or answer which is the best institute in a city or country , especially in INDIA for domains like web designing, animation and VFX/editing/post production or gaming etc. where many institutes offer many types of courses for different duration for almost all the same pipeline .
We need to see the content of the course , duration, cost , infra, earlier students outputs and skill developed , in-time course completion record , certification process & delivery of certificate in time etc.
Also Same Brand has different centers and branches and unfortunately all does not perform the same . Some centers are doing great some not, it differs place to place centers to centers and also on the local management & team.
So its always good to visit the institute personally, speak to them, see the track record and then decide if its up to the mark as per your requirement.
