if you consider placements and salary, you will find that information Science dominates, it has plenty of jobs available in private sector. but, if you consider government sector, mechanical engineering dominates. also, mechanical engineering is an ever green branch, since it doesn't get affected by problems like recession. However, I will suggest you to choose your interest. all the best! !!

MBA you get from University, its Masters degree where as PGDM is diploma from college. Both have equal value. But the negative point of PGDM is that you cannot pursue Ph.D after that.

Hello Ashutosh,
In my opinion, 'Maharaja Agrasen'is better than 'Shaheed Bhagat Singh' because the former is ranked at 32 by MHRD'S NIRF rankings in 2018. While the latter is no where in the top 100. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (E) is ranked at 99 though. Maharaja Agrasen has got better placements and exposure offered and thus better 'graduation outcome'.

You can only change your branch if there are vacancies in higher rank branches. Every University has different rules for change of branch in second year. You may consult your registrar or seniors for details.

For getting a call you 1st need to clear the cutoffs in NMAT. Once you clear the cutoff, you have to appear for Case discussion and Personal Interview. 70% of weightage is given to your NMAT score, 10% on Case discussion, 10% personal interview, 5% for acads and 5% for work exp. Hence you have a pretty good chance of converting NMIMS provided you score well in NMAT. Good luck

No You can't. Unless you have completed your undergrad with minimum 50% marks, you can not appear for CAT and hence you can not join PGDM course. For your CAT score to be valid, you need either your degree and marksheet or a letter from the dean of your college saying that you have completed all the courses and the degree will be awarded to you soon.
