Hi Akshay, There are few institutes that offer particularly event management as a specialization in MBA/PGDM. Such institutes may not have good placements to offer you. You could go in for a MBA/PGDM with more general specializations in marketing and operations which would help you pursue a career in event management.

If you are not already engaged in a job, you could pursue a regular program in Finance, which will be more beneficial for you especially if you pursue such a program from an institute that offers good placements in the Financial Sector. If you are working it is better if you apply for an executive PGDM Program instead of a distance program which will help you as people having similar work experience would be learning with you.
