Procedure :
- To take admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
- Eligibility for admission to lateral entry course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course.

Yes you may surely pursue masters degree from universities in US or Canada.
Please remember in order to pursue masters degree from universities in US and Canada, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests:
1. GRE.
2. TOEFL or IELTS.
Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university.
Regarding preparation of these tests, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for GRE and TOEFL or IELTS.

- Fall(September) intake.
- Spring(January) intake.
