You can definitely go for B.A economics or B.Sc economics if you have studied it in 12th. Though govt.universities will also give you admission otherwise you can easily get admission in private universities.

For admission to B.Com program, a pass in Economics is a mandate.
However, the eligibility criteria may vary from institute to institute.
There are also chances of conditional admissions, where you are asked to clear the compartment exam.
Else the admission get cancelled.
