-B.Ed. that stands for Bachelor of Education is prerequisite for starting a career as junior school teacher. This is one year full time academic course that trains pursuers in the techniques of teaching and its significance.
A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Education(B.Ed)provided:
(i) The candidates who have undergone 10+2+3(15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed
the X and Xll examinations conducted by the respective state board or CBSE or any other recognized board of education/Examination and UG Degree examination of the UGC approved universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the directorate of school education at the secondary or higher secondary education level.
If you are interested in teaching jobs in government sector, there are several state governments which offer a very low salary range to the teachers.
While to get central teacher job, you have to clear CTET exam.
You can also pursue a career as Lectureship as well. You can appear for National Eligibility Test since by completing post graduation. Your subject for NET exam would be management.
