It is not necessary to include it in the best of four subjects, but passing it is a must. Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subject. You can technically switch universities, but it has a long procedure. You have to get approval from both the universities and it's VC has to approve your transfer. Usually students with a high number of backlogs might not be permitted for transfer by either of the university. So first contact the university you wish to get transferred to , and discuss your situation. Once they give the approval, request your present University for the same.

PGDAV is better than Ramanujan College. PGDAV has a good infrastructure plus better faculty members and a good environment for higher studies. You will have a good exposure, teaching quality and an overall development of yourself. Just go for PGDAV for a better being as B.Sc. Statistics in PGDAV is far better than RAMANUJAN COLLEGE.
