Nalanda University offers a PhD programme in various disciplines. The AME CET programme lasts for two years on average. The course covers subjects such aircraft systems and components, maintenance procedures, rules and standards, and safety measures. It combines classroom learning with practical training. Depending on the school or university conducting the course, the length of the AME CET 2024 course may change, however the curriculum is typically split into two sections: theoretical and practical. While the practical portion is devoted to hands-on training in a lab setting and in an actual maintenance environment, the theoretical portion covers knowledge and comprehension of the fundamentals and systems of an aircraft.

A candidate who aspires to take the AME CET will be able to take admission to one of the premium institutes/colleges/universities in PAN India. Furthermore, the institutions in which one will be able to take admission are approved by the authorities like UGC, AICTE, and DGCA etc.After completing the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course, graduates can work in a variety of roles within the aviation industry, including aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, inspection, and quality control.After some year of experience, the AMEs move on to other jobs like Maintenance Manager, Chief Engineer, Operations Manager, etc. with annual salaries ranging from 7 Lakhs to 17 Lakhs.

The national entrance exam for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license-issuance course is called the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET). In addition, the results of the AME CET entrance exam are also transferable to certain Indian government-approved institutes for studies in aerospace and aeronautical engineering. The five components of the AME CET comprise multiple-choice, objective-type questions: physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, and general awareness. Applicants may retake the AME CET up to three times. There is only one paper in the test, which is administered once a year. Additionally, AME CET offers scholarships to deserving applicants of up to 100%.

The SET examination body allows candidates to challenge the official answer key. In case a candidate feels any answer shared by the examination body is incorrect, they can challenge it by filling an objection form which is released on the same day as release of the SET answer key. The candidates can fill the objection form by writing an email to exam conducting body.

The students need to write and email on the official email ID of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). While at it, students need to check the question number from the PDF of the question paper. Write the relevant details and upload supporting document. Students also need to pay objection fee through credit/debit card or net banking. Candidates can raise any number of objections. The SET answer key objection fee will be refunded to only those candidates whose objections will be accepted. Objections that have been submitted once cannot be edited.
