With the fast growing Pharmaceutical Industry in india, which is growing at the rate of 12-14% per annum, Pharmacovigilance definitely has a good scope in India. However, assuring the drug safety in a country like India would require a lot of manpower and trained professional for which you need resources. resources in the form of training institutes and this is what is currently lacking. One of the few such institute in India is ICRI which is providing a part time programme in Pharmacovigilance. Another certificate programme is conducted by Symogen India. so, as I said there are very limited number of Institute providing such a course, for further information please check the link below:
