Depending on your current level of study (Diploma, Degree) and your experience, you can look at studying a program in Instrumentation, Automation and Control at Advanced Diploma, Bachelors or Masters level.
Almost all programs in the above area of study will cover both the subject area that you are looking for.

* After completing diploma in Mechanical engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in the related field.
To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
Some of the colleges offering lateral B.Tech course are :
