If you see the requirement notice it is clearly shown that "Candidate are required who have MBA/PGDM" (in your case it's PGDFM). So both the courses are more or less the same. So there is no question for 'which is better'? But from my knowledge the market demand of MBA is slightly above then PGDM because MBA is a professional degree course and PGDM is just diploma course. This is the only difference. So based on that fact you can choose your career.

Now you can't get admission as admission for this year is closed you have to try in next year for getting admission and again you have to appear in JEE exam as 17 JEE marks is not valid for next year.

Lateral entries are normally granted to students who have a good academic track record. You should check with the admission authorities of your college for minimum qualifications required to apply for lateral entries. Also, before you give up your seat in the current college, make sure you secure a seat in the target institute for B.Sc. in computer science.

No, only PGDM and EMBA courses are available in IIMs and there is no such correspondence course available.

No college or branch change is applicable after the 1st-year. There is no provision to change in college in the 3rd-year across India.
