If you completed your B.Tech in 5 years, it doesn't matter. The thing matter is your over all profile along with co-curricular activities. And IELTS band depends on universities. So go for your area of specialisation.

The basic eligibility for admissions in the Bachelor of Design is 10+2 from any stream, (State BoardsAISSCE/ IB/ ISC) the students have to clear the admission process comprising of Design Aptitude test followed by studio test & personal interview.
One need to clear the DAT entrance exam.
Since, you have completed your diploma program in civil engineering, I would suggest you to inquire with the the institute regarding your admission.

Hi Yatish,Yes, it is necessary.
Clear Skin- A job that requires a high level of hygiene, would demand acne free skin, and if the skin is not clear due to hormonal imbalance, then it becomes a health issue again which is not accepted.
Scars/Cuts- Prominently visible scars become questionable and the Airlines do not want the crew to be questioned for personal attributes on board.
