Hi,
You are already pursuing graduation. In case you are planning to change your stream by dropping out of B.COM, then you can go ahead provided you fulfill the eligibility requirements which are as followed-
10+2 level examinations, in any stream with Maths. (Science stream is preferable in most of the colleges)
And in case you are planning to pursue B.SC IT simultaneously with B.COM, then also it is okay.
Another option can be that you pick MCA after B.COM in order to make a successful career in IT industry.
It is also advisable that you opt for industry relevant certifications which are designed basically to provide an extra edge to an individual by giving them an in-depth knowledge in a particular area of subject.

Age limit is 21- 30 years
Educational qualification:
-> You must have Graduated from a UGC recognized university
-> Stream pursued in graduation is free from bars
-> Graduation through Distance Learning Mode should have been approved Distance Educational council (for graduates who have pursued Distance Learning Mode)
-> Minimum marks required for qualification eligibility for General and other backward caste students is 60%
-> For Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe it is 50%
Computer Literacy- The candidate should have mandatory operators and working knowledge in the Computer Systems in the form of Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Computer Operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ IT as one of the subjects in High School.
So you can definitely go ahead.

Hello Nidhi, Investment Banking is a very exciting but a difficult career path. With high pay and enormous bonus comes a very hectic work schedule where you will have to put in 14 hours of work a day and sometimes even more. It also requires strong numerical understanding and an eye to detail. To become a successful investment Banker you need to have a sound numerical and financial knowledge. Working on software platforms like Excel, PowerPoint etc is a prerequisite.
Generally there are no specific qualifications to become an investment banker. But to get into the domain recruiters look for people from CA or MBA or Engineering background with high academic achievements and aptitude. They usually prefer rank holder CA's/ IIM's/ IIT's.
