Your friend is right as diploma in aviation is a specific course so you dont get chance to move in other field except that you choose to study further in other specialization after diploma and other thing is that mostly diploma got low preference against degrees like BBA.

Germany is a country known for technical advancement, especially mechanical, automobile and related courses.
Generally, the eligibility criteria and admission procedure differs from one university to another. It would be advisable to contact the university officials directly for specific details.
