The application forms for admission to UG courses at Central University of Tamil Nadu are available online through the university website, following an official notification released by the university. Candidates are usually given a one month period to apply. The selection process consists of analysis of past academic performance, and an entrance examination. A personal interview is also included for the research programs. Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India. Eligibility Criteria for UG courses:
Candidates must fulfill the given requirements to be considered eligible for admission. For undergraduate and integrated courses, a pass at the +2 level from a recognised board is required, I. e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. Science stream is required for the course in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Economics / Mathematics / Statistics is required for the programme in Economics. Selection Process
The selection process consists of an entrance examination, which is considered as the basis for the preparation of merit list. The entrance examination consists of multiple questions designed to test the aptitude of the candidates towards the subject. For the integrated courses, syllabus includes subjects covered at the +2 level. Analysis of past academic performance may also be considered as part of the selection process. Subjects covered at the undergraduate level make up the syllabus of the postgraduate course. Sections on general knowledge and aptitude are also included. Note: Once selected, the candidates will be intimated about the next process.
