Des in InteriorDesign, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. Hello Swati, It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in continuing your studies and are interested in doing your graduation in engineering in civil branch after completion of your Diploma in the same branch earlier. It's always good to go for graduation as the career options expand exponentially after graduation. I would have been happy to help you in telling you the procedure and the course fees for the university that you are mentioning if only you had mentioned it. However in general I can tell you that the procedure for lateral admission is different for each state of India. In some States the Directorate of Technical Education conducts an exam for admission in lateral board while in other states the admission is given based on the marks obtained in Diploma. Deemed to be universities invariably conduct their own exam. The fees in general for engineering varies from about 80000 year to 2 Lacs per year depending on the Institution. Best wishes to you.
