Jeya don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. No, you are not eligible for du bmscet without maths. In fact they ask large no. of questions from maths of 10+2 level in their entrance exam. So its better you try for some other colleges.

NSIT is excellent for computer engineering. The cutoff is generally a rank of 4-5k for the general delhi category and around 2k for the outside delhi(general) people. I get really incensed when I talk about the category cutoffs so I would better stay silent about them.

Such colleges do not write any percentage. You should aim at scoring 95 above, but even if you score 92, with exceptional qualities you may be the best fit. Sat score should be really high with high subject test scores. Apart from these, your recommendation should be strong and your extra curricular should be different from others
