Not every college entertains lateral entries or migrations. You need to check first whether the college in which you wish to get into, is ready to take you in mid-year.

It depends on cut off. Every college varies in their cut off, and that's the advantage for science student, because they can apply for arts stream as in political science hons. English hons. He can opt for language course also.

It's a very nice college and the placements are also good. Companies like ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc., visit the campus. It is also a good option for the post graduation.

It's in a simple sequence, PESIT
BIT
BMSIT
SMVIT
NIE
Dayanand Sagar
These are based on Placement and Faculty
and so one you can CS in these but I guess ranks will go up if that happened the most important step is trade IS for CS. It's the same under VTU except DSCE which, is Autonomous so there are better syllabus and more, much more holidays for internship and projects. So to the order, CS and then IS not move to next and so on till you get one.
