Very rarely do foreign universities accept lateral entry into second year. You must write to the universities and check directly with them if you can be eligible for second year admission. They will evaluate your grades and credit points as per their norms.

Core courses are mandatory for graduation, whereas electives can be in most any subject but have to be in a certain number of fields (English, Mathematics, Science, Arts, etc.). Electives are just that, can be taken or not taken, but a certain number of electives are required.

Hi, several options are open from a specialized Masters to Ph.D depending on your career plans. Professional, fast track programs such as Graduate certificates, PG Diploma etc are also open. Please figure out your interests and career plans before venturing out to study. Advisable that you gain some work experience without wasting your MBA degree and then decide to pursue some additional career enhancing course abroad.

BHMS has a better scope. After completing BHMS, you can do the following:
MD is Masters Degree level.
Ph.D is Doctoral Degree level.
The best option is to pursue both. However, you should watch ICMR website for announcement of Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) - Rs. 16000/- per month, & Senior Research Fellowship(SRF) - Rs. 24,000/- per month approx, for your PG and Ph.D. studies respectively. Also you must not forget to tick yes in the box for "Lectureship also". You need this lectureship to apply for Assistant Professors & Associate Professors in government medical colleges. Your pay package at the end of the first month itself will be
