After the MBA entrance exams are over, one should focus on preparing for the interview rounds held by the various B-schools. You would be called to attend them, if you have the necessary cutoffs and eligibility criertia. On clearing these rounds, you will finally get admission into the particular B-school(s).

Complete your Bachelor's degree preferably with a first class. Higher the grades better the chances of admissions in top universities such as Universities of Melbourne and Sydney. Take your IELTS too. An overall score of 6.5 with no section less than 6 is required by most.

Doing engineering does not necessarily mean that you have to work in that particular sector. It is just a graduation course and B.Tech especially offers a wide variety of careers to choose after its completion. If you are interested in financial markets you could probably do Masters in that field. As per my suggestion, I think, you should complete your graduation and then go ahead with financial markets for further studies.
