PGDM is always a better option. Highly upgraded curriculum designed and updated every year as per the industry requirements. Industry exposure in form of internships, practical assignments, guest lectures, industry visits, final placements, etc are the advantages of PGDM. Moreover, to become a successful management post graduate requires a lot of persuasion and interpersonal skills which is imparted by the corporate relations team of any institute.

Hello. Once again I would like to tell all my mentees. I am doing my bachelors in engineering. I am not the best person to advice you on Mtech. However if you still wish to know my opinion I can ask the seniors I know and try to give you an idea. I do know , that, for your Mtech you should really try for NITs or IITs because they are the best colleges. A Mtech graduate from IIT or NIT is something that will make you stand out. Also Mtech from foreign countries like UK or USA or Germany is a very good option. I do not have a clear idea about the colleges in Karnataka. But do try for NIT or IIT as they count a lot more

PGDM is post graduate diploma in management and MBA is Masters in Business Administration. You receive a degree certificate from the university under which you have compelted your MBA under AIU affiliation. Whereas, in PGDM, you received a diploma certification from the institute approved under AICTE/AIU affiliation. Comparatively, PGDM is better as the course is competitive, upgrdaded and prepares you to get ready for a real challenging job world. Wehereas, MBA course curriculum is conventional where upgradation of course is very rare depending upon the university guidelines. Birla Institute of Management & Technology,Greater Noida Fo

There are a good number of institutes providing MBA/PGDM in International Business and Logistics. I think you should apply in an AICTE approved curriculum as it offers a major in the area of International Business, along with a minor in any one other area, thus opening up a broader choice of careers. Hi,
There is no particular weightage assigned to your academic record. The qualifying exams are also merely an AICTE pre-requisite. What matters is your performance in the MICAT & subsequent interview rounds.

Akansha, if you're so passionate, then look at Design which would give you more width to explore yourself and find a new career. Design is a field that is age old &has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new & wonderful careers in design have come up.
