If you have failed in maths then I will suggest you take your class 12th exams again from NIOS. I am sure you can get good marks from there then take admission in any private engineering college.

First of all, you need to complete your boards syllabus 100% from the NCERT. It would take about an year to do that. Once you are done with it then have a brief revision once. Start giving full test and meanwhile start studying for the portions of JEE Mains that are not included in NCERT. With every test that u give, you will be able to know your weak points and strong points. You won't be able to solve all test questions during the 3 hours but after that remember to solve all those left over questions properly. Never leave or skip any question unsolved after the test. Yes, it is possible to become a psychologist in India, without Bachelors degree in psychology. You could do a Masters in psychology from distance education universities. I recommend IGNOU. They have a good MA Psychology course with specialisation in Clinical, Counselling and Industrial Psychology.
