Though 12th marks are really important to get into professional courses like Engineering, in general for offering an L.L.M programme the university checks for whether the student has a Bachelor's Degree in LAW (L.L.B) or Equivalent. It also checks for minimum marks which varies for different categories, for general/OBC it is 50% marks or equivalent grade and for SC/ST it is 45%. And final year students are eligible to apply.
