* After completing diploma in Mechanical engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in the related field. Degree course will open more career opportunities for you.
* B.E/B.Tech cannot be pursued through correspondence mode as such degrees are not approved by AICTE. You may opt for regular / part-time course as it always score more than a correspondence one.
* To join lateral B.Tech course, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
