MBA by definition is a generic degree. I have been discussing the genesis of specialization in MBA with various authorities - including government, regulators and educators - but have not found a conclusive answer. I think that specializations exist because other degrees like Engineering offers specialization; frankly, it does not make sense to me. However, many government jobs these days look for specialization in an MBA (not PGDM).

To be eligible for lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in Computer engineering, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course.
