full time mba is a regular mba.which u can do soon after ur graduation or even after getting some work expirience.
an executive mba can be opted when u want to enhance ur career.this can b a weekend program or evening program.it is for a short period when compared to a regular mba.most of the executive mba programs are only for 1 year.and some may b less.
going for an executive mba after having some experience will definitely add some weight to ur career.
