Well, to be honest I don't have much of idea about the placements of IMS or Fortune, but talking about IMM, they have got real good placements. They have their own dedicated placement cell which helps students in placements. They have strong connections with many companies who comes for recruitment. Almost all students gets placed internally or externally. Avg packages goes from 4lac to 6lac. Many companies for different profiles comes for recruitment. Prachi, designing has many aspects. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, & Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching & imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills & imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. I wont be able to pinpoint the average package for this year as the placements are still going on. Global business is one field whereas in the placement is stable and the faculty has good rapport with the industry personals which makes good placements easier . Its time the placements for global are going to happen soon. There are seniors i know who have attained international placements however i wouldn't expect that to happen with everyone. Logistics is a sector where a lot of global students are getting good placements. If i were a global student i would keep 4 Lakh per annum figure in mind.
