LPU has a transparent admission process. Subject to the course you are applying the admission criterion may vary. For instance if you are applying for an admission in B.Tech programme then qualifying LPU NEST Entrance test is mandatory. Or for say eg. You are seeking admission in MBA programme at LPU then you need to qualify LPU NEST TEST as well as MBA Admission Interview. However if you are applying for any under graduation programme like B. Design or say Fashion Designing or BBA you might not have to give LPU NEST. Instead I would suggest you may please check the programme details on official website (lpu.in/programme/all/) by selecting the category you are looking in admission for. (a) LPU provides a scholarship of upto 6 lac per student. Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. (b) LPU provides scholarships to sports personnel, wards of Defense personnel like ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE etc. Apart from that LPU conducts LPU NEST where student can score good and can grab 50% scholarship.
