Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a leading public central university located in the city of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded as Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in the year 1857 and granted the current name in 1920. The university has received the Institute of National Importance honour under Seventh Schedule, Article 246 of Indian Constitution. It ranks 8th in the list of top 20 Indian research universities. AMU has 12 faculty members that comprise 98 departments, 15 centres and three academies with 28,000 students, about 1,342 teachers and nearly 5,610 non-teaching staff members. Besides, it has three centres at Kishanganj (Bihar), Malappuram (Kerala) and Murshidabad (West Bengal).

In the NIRF Report 2023, the median package offered during BHU UG 4-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 8 LPA. Apart from this, the placement rate recorded during BHU PG 3-year placements 2022 was 91%. BHU Placements 2021: Average Package: INR 7.4 LPA & the highest Package: INR 14 LPA. The highest CTC 16 LPA, the lowest 3-4 LPA and average 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DHL, IBM, Infosys, genpact, Wipro, L&T Finance, ICICI Bank, SBI Life, IDBI Bank, Ujjivan and Federal Bank. The Banaras Hindu University is rated 4.8 on the basis of the EDU Opinions rankings. The largest residential institution in Asia, BHU has over 30,000 students, 18,000 of whom live on campus. In the previous academic year, around 94.5% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered at BHU this year was 28.7 LPA. Candidates at BHU get plenty of time to focus on their area of interest and pastime. However, I have heard that students really need to work hard for their semesters in faculty members like the scientific department. The food served at the BHU hostels is of good quality. There is Wi-Fi available in the hostel. The hostel's fees are affordable. Hostels are consistently maintained tidy. Asia's the largest library is the BHU Central Library. The best literature in the world are available for candidates to read. There is a computer lab where you can use the books and study till 11 pm. BHU has been ranked 6 under the 'University' category and 11 under the 'Overall' category by the NIRF 2022 rankings. It's easy to conclude that BHU is one of the best universities of India.

Placements : The placement cell of IIIT Lucknow observed the average placement package secured by the students at 17.54 LPA, with the highest package peaking out at 43.3 LPA, both observing a growth of 154 % from the previous session. Along with that, the median salary for the batch was 15 LPA. Infrastructure : The college is still under development but all the basic amenities required by a student to live a good life. The college has all the basic requirements like the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with high internet speed, the labs are under construction but will be furnished and will be fully functional by the end of this session that is by MAY through lab sessions are taken digitally on computers every week. Library is also fully functional and classrooms are fully furnished with AC and heaters in all classrooms and with proper lighting. Hostels are new are developed. The quality of the Food is very high and the canteen and all the facilities are good. Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified here they all go through a very difficult recruiting interview and then are recruited for the job all are PhDs and all very good as a mentor thus improving teacher quality. The course curriculum is very important for an IT student and is followed by that of IIIT Allahabad. A student is made industry-ready with a very good coding environment. Other: I have a keen interest in IT because from the beginning I am very curious to know about the history of any equipment that means how it works or how it can be implemented. So that's why I have chosen this course.

In 1949, it was granted the university status. The college is the seventh IIT institution among the IIT Group of Institutions. Earlier, it was named the College of Civil Engineering. In 2001, it was renamed to its current name. The Department of Civil Engineering at the institute is known as the oldest engineering department in India. In 1897, the Department of Electrical Engineering was developed. Presently, the university features four departments. The university campus is spread over an area of 25 acres. It also has another campus in Greater Noida which was opened in 2011.
